Not a 4-star Maldivian luxurious resort! The resort is under construction and have lots of work remaining (construction, service and quality) before they should even start accepting tourists and claiming to be a 4-star resort!

AVOID!!!... This hotel is under construction. Not yet ready to serve the customers who pays a fortune to visit the Maldives Islands. Also this property not even close to a 4 star resort. You also will be served canned and refrigerated foods. Nothing is fresh here. Nothing is “Luxury” about this hotel. This is not a resort, this is a guest house or a motel. Spoke to few staffs about this place, everyone is frustrated because they are being treated poorly without even giving them a paycheck. Some staffs are waiting for their 2 months salary while others are waiting for 6 months salary. Very very bad hotel...

See Trip advisor for full review 2 Star resort at most – Fraudulent Resort! This is a very disappointing resort considering the price and stars it has. The only save for this resort is to lower the price to half and reduce the stars for your guests to be happy based on what this resort has to offer. And even then, one may wonder, if it is even worth traveling there. Wasting one’s precious vacation time and money. Yes, I feel like YOU have wasted our time and money. I would like my money back! • Food Quality – meals All the meals served at the restaurant were buffet style and far below standard and tasteless. Whatever was served, I constantly had to ask for chili peppers to be able to eat something so I won’t starve. The breakfast represented one of a 2-star hotel in Vietnam. I know, since we had just come to the Maldives after a 3-week trip to Vietnam, coming to Maldives expecting the luxury we paid for. They served corned beef (SPAM), canned fruits (pineapple and Lychees), Cereal – corn flakes, rice crispy and some sort of coco puffs. Which hotel serves corned beef at ALL!? Plus they did not warm it up they served it cold where you can see the fat just stuck to it. Lunch & Dinner - We are on the sea and the sea food they offered was one type of fish, no prawns or shrimp or any other fish. Most of the desserts were acceptable, but even this was limiting in the choices. • Living Space – cleanliness The cleanliness, I don’t believe the staff is well trained when it comes to cleaning. The cleaner always showed up at our door with a broom and one piece of cloth. So, I investigated the toilet, it was not properly cleaned for the 6 nights we stayed there. Under the toilet seat urine is generally collected and you need to clean that! Train your staff! That is nasty! The beach towels were green and white or maybe I should say, green, white and brown, as the white strips of the towel had brown marks, the towels did feel clean though. • Luxury Spa - NO FULL-SERVICE SPA! The spa was basically one of the lagoon rooms they were using as the spa is not yet built. They offer only massages, nothing else. • Amenities True/False Different websites seem to state different amenities here is a list of things that is not correct: o There is no pool – you can see the skeleton of one o There is no TV, so no cable/satellite TV either - one was delivered after one day. o Iron/Iron board – Non- existent! o No game room, table tennis • Conflicting information In the rooms, there is a heap of paper that states the dos and don’ts and other information about what is available at the resort. In this, it is mentioned that any motor free sports were for free. In the pricelist one receives at the recreation center, there you will find prices against motor free sports. This is conflicting information. Windsurfing, Kayak and SUP are 3 non-motorized sports that does have a cost. o Few Positives The island has character, which is why we picked the island to start with. There is a lot of sea life with the hermit crabs, you are able to take long walks out to sea because the water is so shallow. There were giant bats and baby shark sightings. We did have a waiter that understood how to serve guests and a bartender who was nice (he did his best with what he had). The resort will take you out to snorkel for free.
